What a great experience. A twenty year veteran of massage. Elena is the best. Had two hips replaced this year. Elena is instrumental in my recovery. Her ability to find problem areas and alleviate the pain is remarkable. Could not recommend her more highly. She has a tremendous gift.
Elena is hands down the best masseuse I’ve ever seen. I had pretty much given up hope of finding a someone that could do anything other than a basic Swedish massage in Corpus Christi. Then I found Elena!! When I go for a massage I need someone that can get past the fascia and get into the muscle, a real deep tissue massage. Elena is the only person that I’ve found that can do that and give me some relief! She is absolutely wonderful! 10/10 recommend!!
Elena is an extraordinary masseuse! In just a few visits, I have gotten more thorough pain relief for my back than I even knew was possible. I have done a lot of physical therapy for my posture, and while it was beneficial for building strength, I have still struggled with ongoing pain, very tight muscles, and trouble maintaining good posture. Elena is pretty much magical--I am thrilled with what she has achieved so quickly in helping relieve pain and loosening up the tight muscles that have caused me to suffer for so long. I cannot recommend her enough!

I'll leave an extensive review as I've noticed at the time of writing, there was only 1 on google for the Touch of Health, which i think is an injustice to this place. If you've never been - you owe yourself to try it at least once for a proper therapeutic massage.
I've tried multiple therapists and thought I was getting a good massage until I had one from Elena at The Touch of Health... I finally got a real deep tissue massage and felt the difference afterwards. You will generally feel better after even an ok massage, but a proper deep tissue one leaves me feeling MUCH more relaxed and its effects last longer (and that's not even mentioning actual health benefits). The difference between massage here and some of the "deep tissue" massages I've gotten before is night and day. Even after just 1 massage I felt much better... but after doing few repeat appointments to get my body in order, I literally felt 20 years younger.
Elena herself is very knowledgeable and puts in a lot of effort during the massage and it shows. She does a lot of work with her hands, but also uses a variety of tools (like suction cups), depending on state of your body to help loosen up muscles prior to working on them further.. Plus after the first massage she also recommended few things I could do at home to help with some of the tighter areas instead of just trying to sign me up for the next appointment, which I appreciated.
After my initial sessions I used to go once every few months for a "tune-up", but this year returned to more regular visits to help me with work and at home. I handle stressful situations much easier and just feel better as a whole. My back tightness/pains are also gone and haven't been back. I'm really happy I found Elena - it improved my quality of life, and if you go there I recommend you ask for a deep tissue massage from her.
